Our expert craftsmen only use timber that has been ethically harvested to protect Sweden’s forests. What are the dimensions of a wooden double garage?

The dimensions of our standard double garages are 4.8m long by 4.8m wide. This will fit two standard sized vehicles. However, if you are looking for more a more spacious double garage that can also be used for storage, and possibly a workshop then we suggest you look at other sizing options on our garage costing tool. 

We offer varried double garage widths and lengths, starting at 4.8 meters wide to 7.2 metres. A popular choice of garage is 6 metres by 6 metres. This gives plenty of room for two car, allowing doors to open, as well as ample storage space at the back.

You can comfortably fit two standard-sized cars in a two-bay garage. It also depends on the size of your cars, but people typically fit two cars in a two-bay garage. Of course, if you have a Range Rover or similar (which is common), this will limit the door space to some degree. We suggest reviewing the measurements on our garage calculator page. The recommended (and most popular) size for a double-car garage is 24×24. Unless you are buying a prefabricated double garage kit, we can work with you on designing and building a doule garage to your unique specifications.
