Premium Quality Construction

We only use top quality joinery grade redwood tongue and groove shiplap cladding and our framing comes planed, with rounded edges. Roofs and floors are tongued and grooved solid wood; we do not use chipboard products in our construction. Our Garden Buildings are manufactured from FSC® certified timber, which is your guarantee of our environmental credentials.

All Buildings are drenched in premium quality golden brown wood preservative and standard roof finish is a high performance IKO Challenger polyester 180 green mineral felt, the same as we use on our Timber Garages and Equestrian buildings.

We offer an optional cladding upgrade to thicker 19 x 125 pressure treated rebated planed shiplap on any Premier Pent or Apex Shed (standard on Heavy Duty Workshop and Garden Room).

Each building is checked for quality and comes 100% complete, down to the last nail and screw. Full instructions are supplied should you wish to put the building up yourself or if you live in our free delivery area you can use our professional erection service.

Enhanced security upgrades are available at extra cost on all garden buildings excluding the Garden Room. These include bolted door hinges, Secure by Design shed shackle and Sold Secure padlock.  Please see brochure or price list for more information.

Small Garden Buildings

A range of versatile small buildings offering a surprising amount of useful storage space.

Choose from our Log Store, Wheelie Bin Store, Tool Store or Garden Tidy ranges.

Excellent value buildings, constructed to the same high specification as our Premier Garden Sheds.

Buildings are constructed from ex. 32 x 50 framing and clad in 16 x 125 t&g redwood shiplap before being dip treated in premium qualtity golden brown wood preservative.

Doors, roof and floor are manufactured from 16 x 125 t&g. Garden Tidys, Tool Store and Log Store come with galvanised tee hinges. Tool Stores are supplied with presslock and key, Garden Tidys and Log Store doors are fitted with hasp and staple suitable for a padlock.

Log Stores have a slatted end wall for ventilation and come with a useful lockable compartment for kindling or garden tools. Available in 2 sizes 0.9m x 1.8m (3' x 6') and 0.9m x 2.4m (3' x 8').

Wheelie Bin Stores are designed to accomodate 1 or 2 in no. 240L domestic wheelie bins as well as your re-cycling boxes. An attractive and sturdy place to store the bins. Availbale in 2 sizes 0.9m x 1.5m (3' x 5') and 0.9m x 2.1m (3' x 7').

Tool Stores will easily accomodate long handled gardening tools and the handy shelf means that you can keep sharp implements and weed killer out of reach of small children. Availbale in 2 sizes 0.45m x 0.9m (18" x 3') and 0.6m x 0.9m (2' x 3').

Garden Tidys are ideal when outside storage is required but when space is at a premium. These small buildings provide a surprising amount of useful space and are very popular in the modern garden. Available with Pent or Apex roofs, sizes range from 0.6m x 1.2m (2' x 4') up to 0.9m x 2.4m (3' x 8')

These sturdily constructed sheds represent excellent value for money.

We offer a choice of Apex and Pent roofed buildings and a wide range of sizes, from 1.2m x 1.2m (4' x 4') all the way up to 3.6m x 2.4m (12' x 8').

A variety of standard door and window positions ensure that you will find a building to suit the layout of your garden.

Cladding and security upgrades are also available on all our Garden Sheds.

Our superior range of Premier Sheds can be specified with a pent or apex roof. Choose from a wide range of door and window positions and 30 standard sizes from 1.2 x 1.2 (4' x 4') up to 3.6 x 2.4 (12' x 8').

Our Premier Sheds are light and airy with plenty of windows* and generous headroom. Options include double doors, additional windows in a second elevation and opening windows.

Buildings are constructed from ex 32 x 50 framing and clad in 16 x 125 t&g redwood shiplap (with optional upgrade to 19 x 125 pressure treated t & g shiplap). Door, roof and floor are manufactured from 16 x 125 t&g. All Premier Sheds are supplied with presslock and key.

Heavy Duty Workshop

A Heavy Duty Workshop offers scope for all kinds of hobbies, as well as somewhere to complete that DIY project without taking up valuable space in the house.

Passmores Workshops are available in 21 sizes from 2.4m x 2.4m (8' x 8') to 9.0m x 3.6m (30' x 12').

Amongst the best available and constructed to the highest specification.

Our Workshops have 1.94m (6' 4") minimum headroom, framed ledged & braced double doors with 3 lever sashlock and joinery made opening windows.

Wall panels are constructed from 3x2 CLS (38 x 63) framing and clad with 19 x 125 pressure treated redwood shiplap. Roof deck and optional floor are from redwood t&g. Fabricated trusses are fitted at regular intervals to support the roof, which is finished with the same high performance polyester mineral felt that we use on our Garages and Carriage Houses.

Our Workshops are supplied with 1524mm wide x 1840mm high framed ledged and braced double doors, clad in 19 x 125 pressure treated t&g and fitted with a 3 lever sashlock and antique nylon keyhole handle.

Doors and windows may be positioned in any wall panel to suit individual requirements. If you wish to divide the building up into more than one compartment we can provide a partition.

Additional single or double doors and windows may be incorporated.

Garden Room

Garden Room

Our Garden Room will enhance any setting and provide a welcome retreat for quiet reflection and relaxation.

These buildings come attractively finished with antique style hinges and 9 pane Georgian style top hung opening windows.

The Garden Room is available with or without a verandah and comes in a wide range of sizes from 2.4m x 2.4m (8' x 8') to 6.0m x 3.6m (20' x 12'). This chalet is a very versatile building and is equally suited for use as a summer house, garden studio, teenager’s den or simply as additional storage.

Buildings are constructed from 3 x 2 CLS (38 x 63) framing and clad in 19 x 125 pressure treated redwood shiplap. Roof and floor are manufactured from 16 x 125 t&g.

The Garden Room features a pair of Georgian glazed doors hung on antique hinges, 3 lever sashlock and antique door furniture and has 2 windows as standard.

Additional doors and windows may be specified. The optional verandah is supplied complete with slatted floor, support posts and 2 sections of balustrade.

Frequently Asked Questions

This will usually depend on the size, height and location of the proposed new building.

If you are positioning the building close to a boundary or in front of the building line of your home when viewed from the road, then planning consent is usually required.

If the building is to be behind the house, more than 2.0m from a boundary and provided the ridge height is less than 4.0m, then you may not need permission, assuming it is for non business use. Most garden sheds and chalets therefore do not need local authority permission.

However, if you live in a listed property or within a conservation area then planning permission is nearly always required.

We have over 35 buildings on display in our showground village in Strood, Kent. As well as a full range of Garden Buildings we also display examples of single and double Garages, Carriage Houses, Open Barns, Equestrian buildings and a Club Range with verandah.

Our opening times are Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm and Saturday 9.00am - 1.00pm. Informed staff are always on hand to answer any questions and offer advice.

For Garden Buildings i.e. Sheds, Chalets and Workshops, delivery is free to postcode areas ME, DA, CT, TN, SS, RM and BR and we offer an erection service in these areas. For delivery outside these postcode areas please refer to the Delivery Map.

We deliver Garages, Carriage Houses, Open Barns, Club Range and Equestrian buildings throughout the UK. Delivery is free to most destinations in the South East and outside this area a scaled charge applies depending on your distance from us (see Delivery Map). We offer an erection service in Zones 1, 2 & 3 with published prices for zones 1 & 2 and prices on application for zone 3.

Goods delivered within the mainland UK carry a 12 month warranty against faulty materials or workmanship.

Normally any defect will show in the first few months of the buildings life as it settles onto its foundation.
