The success of any manufacturing process relies on the quality of the raw materials, the skills and application of its staff and the precision of its machinery and Passmores is no exception.
Consistent quality is assured by our long term arrangements with leading timber producers.
The majority of our timber is imported direct from the forests of Northern Sweden, renowned for slow grown high quality redwood. The oak frames that feature in our range of Carriage Houses, Cart Lodges and Open Barns are sourced as QPA grade oak beams from Belgium. This grade is the very best available.
All Passmore products are individually manufactured by skilled staff in our factory in Strood, Rochester, Kent. Our timber mill is able to produce all our specialist requirements in house by trained staff, under careful supervision, using modern woodworking machinery.
Panels are jig built for accuracy and compliance with established designs and are quality checked before dispatch.
All external timber components for Garages, Carriage Houses, Timber Pavilions and Equestrian Buildings are pressure preservative treated for long service and low maintenance.
Garden sheds, chalets and workshop components are drenched in preservative as they are passed through our treatment plant before delivery. We offer an upgrade to pressure preservative treated cladding upon request.
Delivery to site is via our fleet of modern rigid lorries and assembly, when specified, is carried out by our own fully trained staff.
We deliver the majority of our products across the UK and regularly export into Europe. We have also exported shipping containers full of quality garden buildings to New Zealand for over 10 years!
