Wall Framing - 32 x 50 planed deal.
Wall Cladding - 16 x 125 redwood tongued and grooved shiplap.
Floor - 16 x 125 tongued and grooved boards on 32 x 50 joists.
Roof - 16 x 125 tongued and grooved boards on 32 x 50 purlins/rafters. Roof covering is Ruberoid high quality 34Kg polyester based green mineral surfaced felt.
Treatment - Buildings are treated in water repellent golden brown preservative. Playhouse trim and accessories are treated green.
Door Locks - Playhouses: Magnetic catch. Storage Sheds and Tidys: Hasp and staple. Dog Kennel: Brenton bolt. Premier Shed Range, Garden Cabin and Lodge: Press lock with key and turn buttons. Apex Workshop: Rimlock with keys and turn buttons. Apex, Corner Chalet and Garden Room: Mortice lock with keys and turn buttons.
Glazing - 3mm glass. (2mm perspex in playhouses). Sheds, Playhouses and Cabin are dry glazed. Workshop, Lodge, Apex Chalet, Corner Chalet and Garden Room glass is bedded on glazing silicon and sprigged.
Site Preparation - This is the customer's responsibility. A firm level surface is required. Click for information sheet. Note: we do not recommend an oversize base.
Erection Service - Erection will be carried out at time of delivery so your site must be prepared in advance, i.e. paving slabs laid in position and level etc
Ground Anchoring - Ground anchoring to prevent wind damage is the responsibility of the customer. Many buildings are adequately located by self weight but if in doubt, stake down. With the exception of large Workshops sold without floors for which we offer ground anchor brackets at extra cost, ground anchoring work is not undertaken by Passmores.
Routine Maintenance - Brush apply wood preservative to the exterior within six months, thereafter annually. Periodically cut back overhanging trees and shrubs, check felt for leakage and oil hinges and locks.

Timber sizes are nominal, i.e. before machining and finished sizes will be slightly reduced. eg 32x50 wall framing will finish 28x45
